Once the front woman of noughties duo The Dreseden Dolls and one half of Evelyn Evelyn, Amanda Palmer is an infamous performer. Best described as punk cabaret, she is a pioneer of musical and theatrical performance. To thank her fans who helped fund her most recent album, she performed in a Brooklyn car park in a balloon dress and encouraged fans to pop it until she was left completely in the nude. But a lot more can be said about the American artist, who starts her UK tour with us at KOKO on the 23 October.
