In just a year Bastille has come a long way, from the private solo project of Dan Smith who produced tracks from his South London bedroom to a fully fledge four-piece band playing sold out dates across the country. Tracks like the outstanding Overjoyed and Laura Palmer EPs, are gaining support from Radio 1, XFM and Channel 4’s Hollyoaks, as well as creating a cult following amongst indie music bloggers. The band have earned themselves a musical reputation for creating beautiful soaring vocals, danceable electronic rhythms and pitch perfect pop songs and are set to bring all this and more to KOKO on 19 October.
