BBC Introducing teams up with Club NME to highlight the best and brightest rising stars for the year ahead.

Please note, the first act is normally on at 11:30pm, the second act is normally on at 12:30am. The night finishes at 4am.

Described as “a remarkably independent pop phenomenon” and “The Pet Shop Boys on speed”, April Towers are worth looking out for. Boasting more than 173,000 Spotify listeners in the two years they have been together, people are starting to sit up and take notice of this endearing duo, whose dynamic sound is a mixture of capable lyrics with a thick, rippling beat.

Students - come to Club NME for £4 all night, every Friday* with a valid student card.
*excluding Halloween, Xmas and NYE balls.
