Last november, the young gun DJ and parisian techno prince Brodinski launched his own label - BROMANCE - alongside Manu Barron , his manager (and also CEO of Savoir Faire and Social Club Paris). Brodinski: “I’ve always loved collaborating with other people, ‘cause I get bored too easily. When working together, my head gets fed all the time, new ideas come flying from all directions. The more projects I’m involved in, the better! With Bromance I’m taking that feeling to the next level”.
"A French turntablist, Brodinski’s skills behind the decks have earned him the tag 'the DJ's DJ'. Capable of rocking parties across the globe, the producer has also been lavished in praise for his own output. Brodinski is gearing up to release a new mix in the FabricLive series, curated in honour of his friend DJ Mehdi. Alongside this, the DJ has decided to launch his own label which he has titled Bromance." Clash Music
Gesaffelstein aka Mike Levy stands apart from the current techno scene in Paris. At the moment when techno and dubstep are producing new heroes amongst a handful of French DJs, Levy has chosen a different route for his musical expression. His energizing techno, dark and obsessional, works the dance-floor yet at the same time continues to mine emotional landscapes and powerful atmospheres. Inspired by Kraftwerk but also electronic music born from punk and New Wave, Gesaffelstein mixes current techno with cutting rhythms and dissonant tones from pioneers like DAF, Front 242 or Nitzer Ebb; a kind of ‘dance metal’ to borrow the expression coined by British DJ and producer, Trevor Jackson. July 2012 sees Gesaffelstein releasing a two track EP, ‘Rise Of Depravity’ on Bromance Records.
Canblaster, Sam Tiba, Myd and Panteros666 are Club Cheval – cheval meaning horse in French. Juvenile yet mature, erudite but fun-loving, with Club Cheval, you never really know where you’ve landed, yet you feel at home among these guys who speak this unknown, tasty language that goes through the curvy, bass-heavy swing of London carnival music, the hectic cabaret mixing style, all these washes of melodic sweetness coming from Detroit via Tokyo, IDM’s flamboyant nerdism, and many other micro-worlds of music.
