This January, Gilles Peterson’s Worldwide Awards will return to KOKO for another triumphant musical celebration. The annual meeting place for music nerds and underground obsessives, it’s an evening dedicated to championing the best in forward-thinking music. This will be an evening jam-packed live performances and DJ sets running through to the early hours.

A look back over the biggest moments from past year, it’s also a dedication to the greats who have made waves over the years. As an event, there’s nothing else like it: with Gilles as host and MC, it’s an eight-hour musical marathon which stretches from innovative  jazz creations to jacked-up club bangers.
