Lacuna Coil are proud to announce they will bring their “Dark Legacy” tour to the UK this year, the band’s only headlining run in the UK for 2012.

The shows will feature a set of more than two hours, with material spanning all of Lacuna Coil’s albums.  Lacuna Coil frontwoman Cristina Scabbia commented, “The Dark Legacy tour is a dream come true!  This tour will present the history of Lacuna Coil, melding old fans with a new generation of Coilers.  The Dark Legacy set will offer both the electric and acoustic vibe and absolute melodic epicness!”  Frontman Andrea Ferro added, “We wanted to give our fans a special present for Lacuna Coil’s fifteenth anniversary and that was the inspiration for the Dark Legacy tour.  The Dark Legacy show will be very special, with a lot of our history in a surprise-filled set. You won’t want to miss it!” 

Lacuna Coil is touring in support of their stunning new album “Dark Adrenaline” released through Century Media Records in January 2012. “Dark Adrenaline” debuted at #15 on the US Billboard Top 200 album chart. Additionally the album debuted in the Top 20 in their native Italy and in the Top 50 in UK, Germany, Finland and Canada as well as landing in various album charts all over the globe.

Melding seductive vocals with a modern, electronica-inspired metal sound, Lacuna Coil has wowed audiences as headliners the world over, as well as on all of the major festivals such as Sonsiphere, Download, Wacken, Soundwave and Graspop just to name a few. They were featured guests on the US Ozzfest and just recently finished touring on Gigantour alongside Megadeth, Motorhead & Volbeat.

Tickets for this event are available from the venue box office, and can be purchased at face value if payment is made in cash. Please note promoters may increase ticket price if purchased on the night.
