NATIVE PEOPLE

RUMOURS

Gig info

Club NME, helping you bright young things stay modern in London every Friday night. Expect live bands and resident DJs in the main room, plus pop-up shows and parties upstairs in the Gallery. Take a look here...

Youthful and full of ambition, Native People have combined classic 80s synths with fresh indie-electronic ties drawing influence from contemporaries like Shura, Friendly Fires and Two Door Cinema Club.

Their new single "Don’t Save Me" is no exception, every inch the summer anthem with sharp guitars, warming synths and melodic vocals.

Support for the four piece has grown rapidly since the release of their debut single, Calm Forever which saw the lads secure titles such as Record of the Week (BBC Introducing Kent) and Discovery of the Week (Amazing Radio) plus feature on the likes of Clash, AMBY & Spindle.

Support on the night comes from Rumours: “you listen to something as impressive as Rumours’ new single “I Do It All” and it reminds of two very important things: why that genre is so popular and how moving it can be when it’s truly done right.” - Pigeons & Planes
