A Month Of Fridays: Sons & Lovers take up a 4-week residency at Club NME this January.
London four-piece, Sons & Lovers play Club NME every Friday this January. 2012 saw the band play BBC Introducing festival shows, along with hearing big praise for their tracks 'Set My Heart' and 'King'. The band topped off the year with the release of the single 'Golden' as a free download.
Have a read of some of the delightful things people have been saying about their music...
‘Set My Heart’ should really be the single that paves the way for a bright and big gig-laden career for Sons & Lovers.
It’s a huge track, with vocals no less than perfect and the kind of rousing, anthemic instrumentation that makes hair stand on ends.
Sons & Lovers are working on something very exciting, so keep your eyes and ears to the ground.
Supprt comes from Jeramiah Ferrari, a young band based in Leigh near Manchester who fuse together Roots Reggae, Rock, Punk, Ska and Calypso. In 2012, they gigged heavily across the UK supporting the likes of The English Beat, The Aggrolites & The Neville Staple Band, as well as winning a support slot at the Key 103 Summer Ball in front of a 20,000 strong crowd at the M.E.N Arena. In September they self released "The Dubby Rock EP" which went to number 4 in the iTunes Reggae chart and picked up radio support from BBC Manchester, Key 103 and Rock FM. 2013 will see them start recording on their debut album, touring the UK and beyond.
