French composer and multi-instrumentalist, Yann Tiersen, is famed for his avant-garde recordings and his award-winning soundtracks (Amelie, Good Bye Lenin!). With influences ranging from the Stooges to Joy Division and experimenting with a multitude of genres, from classical and minimalist, to traditional folk and rock, no two Yann Tiersen performances are the same.
